oops, let me attempt to clarify--it's been a day since that thought fell out of my head. what i meant by "runaway nature" was that at this point the game is a bit out of control--House has divided the wannabes into two big teams and because of his distraction with the car-crash-near-death-experience-guy, he's letting them run a muck to a degree. (or that's how it strikes me) and 13's mistake ultimately results from the confusion. she doesn't watch the pills get taken as the guys storm into the room for tests. so, kind of a "runaway" game at that point like the train in the song careening down the hill. eh, just an idea. i think it sounded better inside my head yesterday.
